Sean sighed, leaning over to tell the driver that he would no longer be needed. He followed Orli into his house. Orli immediately shed his jacket, kicked off his shoes, and headed straight for the bar. He poured them both glasses of red wine and walked over to Sean, who was still just standing in the middle of the room. Sean sipped his wine as Orli smirked at him. "I should've worn our tie tonight too." "Our tie?" Sean raised an amused eyebrow. "Yeah, like at the SAG awards when we turned up wearing almost the same tie. *This* tie." Orli waggled Sean's tie, laughing before letting go and backing away. "We looked as if we'd shopped at the same store, or gotten dressed together or something." Orli giggled again, turning to look at Sean, his eyes lighting up. "I bet people thought I was your boy toy. That you were 'Enry 'Iggins and I was Orliza Bloomlittle." He snorted with laughter before settling down to gaze at Sean with serious intensity. Sean never ceased to be amazed by Orli's ability to switch moods in an instant. He could go from laughter to misery in seconds, or vice versa. If you said the wrong thing to him while he was in the middle of telling a funny story, he could turn into a silent, pouting statue until you'd apologized properly. Then, all was sunshine and light again, and he was hugging you and giggling and making you laugh as well. Orli cocked his head to one side, a small, secretive smile on his face. He sashayed closer to Sean, exaggerating his hip movements as he did. Taking Sean's tie in his hand again, he batted his eyelashes, running the tie through his fingers over and over. "I bet you'd like that, wouldn't you? You'd be a good sugar daddy. *My* sugar daddy. You could dress me up, and teach me to be all proper like," he dropped into a mock curtsey, "And take me out and show me off. And then we could come home, and you could undress me, taking off all of my shiny new clothes until I was completely naked, just standing in front of you, waiting to see what you'd do to me." He dropped Sean's tie, turning and throwing a wink over his shoulder as he did. He strutted slowly away, singing in a whisper. "Just you wait, 'Enry 'Iggins, just you wait...." |
Your Horoscope for Today by Telanu - A great short story that had me rolling on the floor laughing the first time that I read it. Its prequel, Oh, Just This Once is also definitely worth a read.
Carnival Kisses by Krissy - This is such a cute Harry/Draco fic. It's lovely and lighthearted, and that's just why I like it. Plus, Krissy writes wonderfully.
The Seasons by Penelope_Z - Another Harry/Draco fic, this one where they're already together. She's got some style, and this is a lovely read.
Into the Fire by Aspen - This is one of the hottest Snape/Harry fics I've ever read, no kidding. It's by Aspen, so the writing is great, and she makes great use of song lyrics throughout the course of the fic. Definitely NC-17.
It's No Good by Rubicon - A three part Ron/Draco story. I don't know quite what it is that makes me love this story, but I do. *Sigh*
Irresistible Poison by Rhysenn - One of the very first HP slash series that I started reading. It's a Harry/Draco WiP, and it's quite long, but well worth the read. It's incredibly well-written, as is the rest of Rhysenn's stuff.
All Torn Down by Obake - Another amazing Harry/Draco WiP. It's got great characterizations, conventions that seem to fit right into the canon universe, and action that'll keep you reading. I've been reading since she posted the first chapter, and I haven't ever lost interest. Taking into consideration my incredibly short attention span, that's saying something.
On the Back of a Unicorn by Lucianus - Her fic is actually Snape/OC slash, but it's a wonderfully created and fleshed-out character that fits right in with the established ones. There's Harry/Draco slash coming up, too. This story is so unique and well-written, and I think that she has woefully few readers and reviews for the quality of this story.
Weakness and Power by ThreeOranges - WiP Snape/Quirrell slash, pre-SS events. It starts when Quirrell first comes to Hogwarts, and it chronicles his school days, how he becomes a teacher, and how his relationship with Snape evolves. It's amazing in the characterizations and depth of emotion, especially since the author makes both Quirrell and Snape flawed, but easy to sympathize with. Wonderful work.
